Study Instruments

Each instrument is personally assembled in my workshop to ensure high quality.
The choice of strings, cases, and bows can be modified according to the musician's preferences (different brands or thicknesses of gut strings, higher-quality cases, and bows).

Violas da Gamba

"Passion Tradition" Violas : Handcrafted in China, these are the reference study instruments.

All violas are strung with Pirastro or Toro strings (For bass violas : D, A, E, C : open gut, G, D, A : silver wound gut).

Viola d’amore instruments are strung with Pirastro strings.

Baroque violins, violas, and cellos are strung with Pirastro Chorda strings.

Viola da Gamba Strings

Strings can be shipped upon request (payment by check). For shipping costs: packages under 20g cost €2.50; for heavier packages, prices will be included in the quote. For orders, please use the contact form.

Please specify desired gauges when ordering; otherwise, standard gauges will be sent.

Other types of strings (different brands, pure gut strings for low tones, tenor, alto, treble violas, pardessus, and viola d’amore) are also available upon request. Contact me for inquiries.
